The Emma Dress is anything but a simply little black dress. I attended Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekender, and while I packed this dress, it was packed as an afterthought.
One fateful night, my vintage Alfred Shaheen dress busted the zipper, and I was left thinking, Oh my god, what am I going to wear? My best friend made me realize I had a beautiful black dress by Steady Clothing, screaming to be worn. The Emma Dress literally saved the day.
This dress is a WONDERFUL dress for busty ladies, as it puts your best feature right on display. In addition to being a great cut, it has a faux peplum and really add maximum punch for hourglass figures.
This dress is made from a blend fabric, so it does have a lot of stretch. I would say that this dress does run true to size, if not a little small, so make sure you look at the size chart and order accordingly. I would not size up if you are in-between sizes, as the stretch factor is there.
I paired my dress with strappy sandals and black orchid hair flowers. This dress, however, could just as easily be paired with a denim jacket and a pair of chucks and make a debut at a car show. I love the ease with which this dress can be worn. It offers limitless possibilities.
