Poly Poplin: This cost effective fabric is breathable, colorfast, crisp, and easy to handle and care. It’s a durable material, so it’s very popular when making uniforms. Machine wash in cold water. Machine dry at low temperature and remove as soon as the cycle is complete. The good thing about this polyester fabric is being wrinkle resistant. If ironing is needed, use a moderately warm iron. 100% Polyester, machine wash warm, tumble dry low, remove promptly, no bleach
Peach Skin: The fabric is lightly sanded to give it a texture like peach skin, with a slight sheen. Peach Skin comes in a wide array of colors, so it is the best choice when making shirts with triple tones. Also, microfiber is a new type of polyester that has the ability to breathe due to the construction of the yarn (it’s very breathable material). We have heard from many customers that this fabric is cool and comfortable to wear. Machine wash and if removed promptly will need no ironing, ever. If you touch up, use lowest iron setting, it is sensitive to heat and can scorch. 100% Polyester. Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. Do not iron emblems.
Pop Check: Steady Clothing’s most popular fabric! This light and breathable fabric features a pleasant crosshatch texture and is reminiscent of the Polyester Poplin fabric in its durability and cost effective maintenance. Pop check provides a very vintage look to any garment made, while still staying sharp and classy. 100% Polyester. Machine wash cold, no bleach, tumble dry low. Do not iron emblems.
High Peach: What differentiates this fabric from Peach Skin is the distinctive textured lines running along the fabric. It still features a shiny sheen and is very soft, just more textured. It’s also available in a variety of different colors and is very breathable. 100% Polyester. Machine wash cold, no bleach. Tumble dry low, do not iron emblems.
Gabardine: Famously used in the 1950’s for all kinds of suits and bowling shirts, it’s the perfect fabric for any vintage-inspired look. This fabric will stand the test of time with its durability. These sturdy materials will work just as hard as you do, without sacrificing style. Gabardine is a very soft fabric with a great gentle feel to the skin. Available in a wide variety of colors, this fabric can embody sophisticated understatement or chic glamor, and everything in between. 85% Polyester and 16% Rayon. Machine wash cold, no bleach, line dry or dry clean.
Poly Cotton: When combining the two materials polyester and cotton for an article of clothing, there are several benefits. Cotton is a very soft material that provides good moisture absorption, while polyester is a more durable material that when combined with cotton, allows for the production of more durable clothes. It does have a tendency to shrink, so if a garment doesn’t fit just quite right, it’s always possible to toss it in the dryer for a smaller fit. It does also wrinkle more easily than other fabrics, so take care to fold or hang poly cotton garments. 80% Polyester, 20% Cotton. Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. No bleach, do not iron emblems.
